Have you ever had homemade rhubarb wine? This would be the man who introduced it to me. They don't make it in wooden barrels anymore because they are too hard to clean. They put it in any old bottle they can find, so I have some in my fridge right now labled Sobe Grape Gulp or something like that. I hope noone tries to gulp it. It's alcohol content is like 18%. My eyes about shot out of my head after one sip. Posted by Hello
Guess how many chickens they have? 8,000. Only.  Posted by Hello
Today I got to meet some Hutterites from a colony in Montana where Gaugie taught. Emily and I joined them for dinner at Grandma's house.  Posted by Hello

Aspirin Commercials Give Me Headaches

Today, after I got up anyway, I didn't have a headache. That means my headache only lasted 6 days!

Jarrett Dale Beaudry, my newest little cousin. He is one month old. Posted by Hello
Eva somehow got a hold of nearly every cookie so she could eat the frosting. Then I would have to eat the rest of the cookie so she wouldn't throw it away. Mmmmm, cookies. Posted by Hello
McKenzie in her Easter outfit.  Posted by Hello
Kody, my personal cuddlebug. He's my cousin Tamara's youngest son. Looks rather elfish, don't you think? Posted by Hello
Grandma and Grandpa Nordhagen. These are the ones who have all the cows.  Posted by Hello
My Grandmother turned 80 this last Thursday. Posted by Hello

My cousin Sean is the (very) proud new owner and best friend of Jack. Sean can spin Jack around 8 times before he'll give up that tennis ball. Posted by Hello
In AZ, Jack only has pavement to play on. He loves being back on the grass. It's better for chasing balls and relaxing. Posted by Hello
I never got to say goodbye when Jack moved to Arizona. He's still as cute as ever, and this time I gave him a proper farewell.  Posted by Hello
After many months, most of the gang is together again! (We missed you, Mark and Sarah!) Pizza and Pit is our idea of a great party. Posted by Hello

Jack is in town! Must visit...

Due to publishing issues, the last picture was not actually the last cow picture. This is another new calf, about 3x the size of primrose. Her name, for now, is Pete because Em always thinks she's a boy. Poor Pete was very stressed about being caught. Posted by Hello
Are you tired of cow pictures yet? Well, this is the last one. This cow is curious and has a sweet face. She didn't think Emily was very salty, but she gave my hand a thorough licking. We were sure she was going to slobber on our faces too, but she backed off.  Posted by Hello
Primrose reminds me of Jessie in this picture. Does anyone know why? Posted by Hello
Professional cattle wrestlers. Posted by Hello
Primrose! She's actually my daddy's, not my grandpa's. She's small and tame and kissable. Posted by Hello
Austin is the Bull. He is big. He's sweet, but strong and a spoiled. He will not eat an apple that has been partially eaten. He likes to be brushed but if you stop, he will push you. He's like a dog that wants to be petted, only a lot stronger. Posted by Hello
The next Whitey? The next Bianca (that's my car's name)? Posted by Hello
Pink nose. All our calves are supposed to have red faces, not white ones. Yeah, that's working out. Posted by Hello
Hiking at Mt. Spokane with Em and Chris. We couldn't get to the top of the mountain (though there's not any snow on the road anyway) so we went for a walk in sink-hole central. Beautiful, isn't it? Posted by Hello
Eva is my little pixie. She's rather attached to Carter, or anything else that moves and will pay attention to her. "Carter! Come with me!" Posted by Hello
Ivan The Terrible or Ivan-Honey, formerly "Whitey", lives at The Nordhagen Animal Half-way House. He is wearing the sleeve of this sweater because he is shaved. He is ugly and smelly, but sweet. When he is done having his medicine, he can be a great barn cat if anyone will take him! Posted by Hello
